About Us

We are a community based outpatient physical therapy practice that emphasizes individual attention and customized treatment programs. These programs are specifically designed to meet the needs of our patients. We believe that our approach allows us to provide our patients with superior care and outstanding customer service. Treatments typically include therapeutic exercises, individual instruction and therapeutic activities to address the areas that our patients identify as being a problem (pain, walking, running, stair walking, balancing, throwing, lifting, bending and reaching overhead, etc.). We have outstanding personnel and state-of-the-art therapeutic equipment to ensure that you get the very best treatment possible. In addition to the positive feedback that we receive from our patients concerning their treatments, we are often complimented concerning the friendly and professional atmosphere that exists in our office.

We work with many physicians and surgeons throughout the region in the treatment of work injuries, auto injuries, personal injuries and various medical/post-surgical conditions. Please refer to the "Services" tab to view some of the conditions that we treat. Close communication with your physician(s) is a high priority at WORK-UP PHYSICAL THERAPY. We communicate with your physician(s) by phone and through written reports to ensure that everyone is on the same page concerning physical therapy treatment. We provide medical monitoring for patients with medical issues/conditions and for people that do not exercise regularly. This medical monitoring, which can be requested by any physician and for any patient, allows the physical therapist to determine your cardiopulmonary response to exercise through analysis of heart rates, blood pressures and oxygen saturations.

Our location, which is on East Atlantic Avenue in Haddon Heights, provides convenient access from Station Avenue, Kings Highway, Route 295, Route 42 and the Black Horse Pike. Flexible appointment scheduling, ample parking and first floor access are provided to enhance patient convenience. We are a Medicare provider and are "in-network" with most insurance plans. As a courtesy, we contact the insurance company at the start of care to confirm authorization for treatment and to minimize patient phone call/paperwork time.
